A grant writing workshop is scheduled April 17 in Council Grove.

It is slated from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bowers Center, 313-399 Main St.

A Herington driver was transported via ambulance to a Salina hospital following a single-vehicle accident near Enterprise on Feb. 28.

Three members of the Herington Wrestling Club earned medals in state competition last weekend in Topeka.

TOPEKA — The Topeka Capital-Journal has included several area student athletes on its 2019 All-State Basketball teams.

Several members of the Herington Kids’ Wrestling team competed in a district meet Saturday in Abilene. Six youth qualified and will advance to the state tournament in Topeka.
